Burning, Tingling, Numb, Hypersensitive, or Cold Feet

What do all these things have in common? Well, these are the most common symptoms from people who suffer from a peripheral neuropathy. Traditionally we only think of diabetics when we hear this term, but research is now showing it encompasses many more than previously thought. This is mainly due to the side effects of some very common medications. At the top of that list are cholesterol lowering medications.

I think current recommendations are if you are over 40 and have blood you should be on cholesterol lowering medications. Just kidding but it almost seems that way.
